I'm joining Susan's Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps at the Porch this week. I've been enjoying my little metamorphosis.
I decided to leave the Christmas tree up in the dining room just for fun. Since Christmas it has been through a few changes.
Christmas
Baby Shower in January
Baby favors from Dollar Tree
Redecorated for Valentines
Almost all the decorations came from the Dollar Tree. The baby shower and the Valentine's tree cost less than $10 to decorate.
I used little favor bags, heart shaped lollipops and silk roses. I removed the little diaper pins from the tussie mussies and added heart stickers instead.
I just love the glow of the tree at night when I sit to have a cup of spiced tea.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Can I come over for tea? great tree!! Will you decorate it for St. Patrick's Day and continue with Easter?
ReplyDeleteGreat Tree!!! Isn't it fun to keep the tree up and decorate it for different holidays?? As you know I left 6 of my 12 Christmas trees up and now have 6 Valentine's Day trees. I will cut down to three, maybe four for Easter. Will you do an Easter tree also???

How cute! This is my first year leaving a tree up year round and it is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteAre you going to do an Easter tree? I love your Valentine tree and the Baby Shower tree is so cute.

I love all your decorations! I have a friend that leaves her 8 ft tree up for Valentine's Day. It took my breath away the first time I saw it all decked out in the cutest hearts and Valentine decor.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea! Your last picture with the tea set is a great picture.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is the perfect size to leave up!! I love how you have decorated it. I too, love the glow of the lights and really wanted to leave my tree up longer but it was a live tree...no choice with that!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

I remember your baby shower tree. The Valentine's one is so pretty. You should leave the tree up year-round and decorate for the seasons! Your tea set is beautiful, also. Love the candlelight.
ReplyDeleteSonia, this is just fabulous....such a wonderful and creative idea. Love it!

What a great idea. I'm always sad when the tree comes down. I'm sure you can think of ways to keep it up all year!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet -- your little "all holiday tree" -- love your valentine's look -- thanks for your recent visit too -- I'm behind in catching up.
