I love red flowers..maybe it's because they attract hummingbirds..which I also adore...and they just make me happy!
In honor of Valentine's Day and Tootsie's Flaunt your Flowers Friday (and the fact she has planted over 300 geranium seeds in her greenhouse-AMAZING) I went through my pictures to find some garden REDS!
Climbing Roses mingled with grapes
Red Impatients
Early red tulips
A view from the back corner of my garden in early Spring
A Valentines bouquet
Have a fabulous Flaunt your Flower Friday!
Is it springlike in your area now?? If so, lucky you! My tulips won't come up until April, and that is if we have had some warmer weather. I love the little corner of your garden, Sonia!!
ReplyDeleteTootsie is amazing. I love geraniums. especially red. I had a window box of them still blooming in November so I brought them indoors. They have been doing great and even blooming once in awhile. That's different!! Thanks for sharing!

I'm so jealous that you already have tulips blooming! But so happy for you. Red is my favorite color. So this post made me smile from ear to ear.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
wow tulips flowering already - it won't be until May till I see most of mine. I love the way when the sun comes out they all open their petals a little more and you can see into their lovely colourful centers.
