Spring is popping out all over in Oklahoma. I love this time of year as there are so many shades of green in the landscape. The color of my fescue grass is the prettiest spring green as we have cool temperatures and
more rain. St. Patrick's Day and Easter are just around the corner!
In preparation of Kathleen's St. Patrick's Day Blog Crawl I put together a table with my favorite shades of green. Kathleen said no re-runs this year so I gathered my green dishes and went to work on my little kitchen table.
My best friend sent me this beautiful teapot as a gift several years ago and I just treasure it!
I love the luster finish and the hand painted shamrocks.
The only thing new I purchased for this table was the potted shamrock. I spent a whopping $3.99 at the grocery store and the rest I had on hand.
I did start with a tablecloth I purchased last year on sale after St. Patrick's Day. This shade of green is a little bright but I decided
I could tone it down with other
shades of green.
shades of green.
I purchased the twig chargers from Pier One last fall. I love the natural element they bring to the table. They are the perfect beginning to a garden or Easter table too!
I layered the lime green dinner plates I purchased at T.J. Max a few years ago. The embossed design is so pretty.
The shamrock plates are from Portugal and I was so pleased to find them. I decided to layer them between the lime green dinner and salad plate for new and fresh look.
Remembering the no re-runs rule!

ReplyDeleteThis St. Patrick's Day table is really lovely. Was looking for some inspiration here as we aren't having too much of the wearing of the green around here. As usual you've put everything together just right!

ReplyDeleteYour tablescape is just wonderful with your stacked china and green theme. I really like your chargers and they lend a nice natural element to the table. Love the mugs and your teapot is the cutest thing! What a sweet gift from your friend! Thank you so much for sharing and joining me for tea. Have a wonderful St. Patricks day.
Blessings,

Your table is just so darn pretty! Love that teapot with the warmer- it's so unique and I want one! The Portuguese shamrock plates are very pretty and I like how you layered all the elements. Your shamrock plants looks much fuller than mine- they get leggy after a while and mine has actually led a full life of one year. Very special indeed, considering that I have a brown thumb~ LOL
ReplyDeleteHappy St. Paddy's Day, Sonia. ~ Sue
