Don't you just love outdoor flower markets? This is my favorite at Pikes Market in Seattle.
I was overwhelmed at the selection of flowers, the vibrant colors and bouquets available....
and better yet, the bouquets are so affordable. I couldn't make a decision about which one to buy so of course I finally purchased a bouquet with a stargazer lily in it!
I almost always have fresh flowers in my house, either from a favorite florist (mine has 1/2 price days on Wednesdays) the grocery store or my yard. They bring me such joy!
Happy Bloomers!
Hi Sonia..
ReplyDeleteOooh...what beautiful flowers! Ohhh, I just can't imagine having such a selection...it would have taken me forever to decide! Hehe! We just don't really have many fresh flowers here where I live...a few at Walmart is about it! Girl, I live in the sticks! Hehe! But I'm planning on going out and cutting a bunch of fresh lilacs soon...they are almost ready!
So happy that you got some pretty fresh flowers!

Very pretty flowers. I went to Pike's Market years ago. It's a great place.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sonia,
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous pictures/flowers! I love fresh flowers - such pleasure and beauty!
I'm having a giveaway over at my blog (did you already see). Come on over and see what it is!!
Have a wonderful day,

I'd love to live near that market. Our Sam's Club used to have the best flowers for sale - where you could mix & match bouquets = but they pulled it out and now their bouquets are too pricey and I pass them by...Robyn
ReplyDeleteFresh flowers in the house are truly a joy. I love stargazer lilies as well. Beautiful market. I have always enjoyed visiting Pikes Market when I have been in that neck of the woods.

What pretty flowers and like you, Linderhof has real flowers year round as well -- spring and summer and fall are garden flowers while we rely on forced bulbs in the winter. And if nothing is blooming . . . there are always florist flowers. I, too, love the lilies -- their aroma is heaven!
ReplyDeleteI must confess I am jealous...we laugh around here that we should all move to Seattle...just start over. We live in Missouri but my heart loves Seattle...I would be buying flowers every week. Those are amazing. We had Stargazer lilies all over our wedding. Thanks for the memory stirring. Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteMy jaw hit the ground when I saw the prices listed for those bouquets.... what a deal!!!!!!!!

I love Pike's Market and your photos of the flowers there are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of Pike's Market! I also love flower markets - they are such eye candy! If I have a camera people must think I'm a crazy lady. Love the stargazer lily and love your quote from one of my favorite scriptures and songs as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting today! This is my first time to your blog - it's lovely! I'll be back!

Sonia,
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful pictures and a great flower market! We were at Pike's when we visited Seattle almost one year ago. There was sooo much to look at! We had a lot of fun!
Getting flowers 1/2 off is a great deal and I am sure the florist has the better quality! Hopefully soon I will find some in my backyard to put in a vase! ;-D
xoxo

I thought that the flowers at Pikes were all so colorful and the prices were so reasonable for such lush bouquets.
