I worked in my garden this morning planting flowers and reflected on the blessings I have namely my family, my faith , friends and the freedom to worship my Savior and live in America. As I walked through my garden I was grateful to those who made sacrifices so I could take a walk in my garden.
Hope this weekend you have an opportunity to meditate on all you have to be thankful for!
Have a safe and blessed Memorial Day!
Hi Sonia. Your post is so sweet and timely. I'm looking forward to church tomorrow. We have many people who are currently or have served our country. It's nice to honor them in the service.
ReplyDeleteYour yard looks beautiful! After all the whining I did about the rain, I'm very grateful. It's so pretty right now. My hydrangeas are blooming too. One of my oakleaf hydrangeas has this one leaf that's probably 12" across. It's so interesting.
Have a wonderful weekend.
A Beautiful post...may you have a wonderful Memorial weekend my friend...hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

ReplyDeleteHi Sonia...
ReplyDeleteJust read the sweet note that you left for me on my honeymoon in the Swiss Alps...so glad that you came by and thank you for your sweet comment!
My friend, your yard and flower garden are simply divine!!! Ohhh yes, I suspect that this is really a wonderful place to be able to "think upon" God's many blessings! The beauty is definitely inspirational!!! Girl, all of your flowers are beautiful but I just stand in awe when it comes to hydrangeas...your's are gorgeous!!! I just don't believe that we can grow them here in Colorado...I've never seen any around, it's probably to cold for them! I just love them!!!
I too, am thankful for all the men and women who have and are now serving our great country! I hope that you're having a blessed and safe Memorial Day weekend, my friend!
Warmest wishes,
Chari
