Bee Tea

When we were on vacation early last year I found the most adorable  bee-inspired pieces for my table.   The pattern is so sweet and I have been adding to my little collection over this past year.

I actually found the tea bag holder in Carmel and then the honeypot and creamer in
Solvang a few days later.   Love when that happens!

I've always loved blue and white tables so this
pattern just stole my heart.
I was certain there had to be a matching teapot somewhere and I was fortunate to find
 it on the internet.

I later purchased the matching desert plates
and tea mug to complete my little tablescape.

Sunflowers from the grocery store inspired me to set my table out in the garden this morning with the butterflies and bees buzzing about!

The napkins were purchased several years ago in an antique store.  The french provencial pattern is one of my favorites and the table cloth was a thrifty
 find in Austin.

I found the bee skep in a local craft mall and love the natural element it adds to the table.

I love stacking different textures and patterns!

This was a fun table to set and when the weather cools off a bit I can't wait to share it with a friend!

Enjoy the summer....school is staring here and fall is just around the corner!

  3. What's not to like about this darling table? Your bee inspired dishes are sheer delight. You know I'm fond of most things bee. '-) I've not seen this, but love the soft colors How nice that you can continue to find pieces to add to your set. Love the bee skep. I keep thinking I'm going to find one, but so far no luck. The blues and yellows and the alfresco setting put this table @ 5 stars!

  9. This is so, so pretty! The bee skep was a great idea. There is a vintage blue glass candy dish floating around out there in antique stores, footed, with a lid, that has little bees pressed into it. I think it was made by Anchor Hocking, not positive. I watched it in an antique shop for a year, finally decided to go back and get it, and then of course it was gone! But it would be great with your set, so something else for you to be on the lookout for. Take care - Dawn
