Pink Saturday-Historical Houses, Pink Flamingos and Easter Trees???

Last week my hubbie and I took a little rest and relaxation trip to Fredericksburg, Texas and tried to escape the cold temperatures  and snow in Oklahoma. We stayed in the Adams Travis house two blocks off Main Street.

The home is historical and beautifully decorated with antiques and accessories and we enjoyed our visit so much.

I just fell in love with the front porch!

These pink flowers were blooming outside the back porch...they look like tulip magnolia blossoms.

On Main Street, Rathskeller's is a wonderful little restaurant in the basement of the old hospital. I'm a nurse so of course I wanted to try it!
The food was wonderful and the people were so friendly.  I spied something right away that I knew I just had to post for Pink Saturday.

These pink flamingos were outside the basement window by our table and just made me smile.   They are so quirky and unexpected

Maybe they were hungry?

I love quirky and unexpected --I  guess that's why I still have my Christmas -I mean -Easter tree up!

After breakfast I did have fun finding a few new Easter ornaments
in the cute little shops along Main Street.  The shopping there is incredible!

I found these adorable little stowaways in the bottom of my shopping bag when I got home.   Apparently the shop owner includes a little surprise with your purchase.

I had to laugh at their tiny little faces...they are just precious!  The shop is called

Hope everyone has a great Pink Saturday and finds fun in the unexpected!
